Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel after breakfast and lead you to various famous and exclusive, cultural, religious and historical sites of the city. Start your day’s fascination by visiting Africa’s largest man-made lake locally known as ‘Kabaka’s Lake’ meaning that it was made for and it remains the property of the King of Buganda. This lake of wonders is located in the valley between the Rubaga Cathedral – The biggest and main Church of the Catholic religion in Uganda, ‘The Bulange’- the King’s administrative office and ‘The Lubiri’- the King’s Palace. Your guide will give you a rich history as you visit these treasured sites of Kampala.
The Anglican main church at Namirembe is just a few meters from ‘The Bulange’ and worth visiting on your way to ‘Kasubi Tombs’ – a UNICEF world heritage site (currently under renovation). The Nearby Gadaffi Mosque (Old Kampala) is an important landmark for the Muslim community being the largest mosque in the country whereas the next hill is occupied by the historical and Africa’s prominent Makerere University that has groomed many African leaders (both corporate and political).

 

Proceed to the National Museum and learn a lot about Uganda’s History and culture before visiting Bahai Temple – Africa’s largest Temple for those who belong to the Bahai faith, relax and enjoy the serenity and the beauty of the gardens at the Temple.
Somewhere in the middle of your tour you will break for lunch and enjoy either a local buffet or any of the international cuisines of your preference. Namugongo Martyr’s shrine is worth visiting before you end you day’s tour of Kampala city.

Wake up early and have your breakfast as you wait for our tour guide to meet you at your hotel in Kampala. You will take Jinja road offering en-route beautiful scenery featuring undulating hills covered with lush green vegetation, sugarcane and tea plantations. Your first stop will be at Ssezibwa Falls to be fascinated by the beauty and history surrounding this important Buganda Kingdoms’ treasured site.
Stop in Mabira forest for a nature walk expecting to see monkeys, varieties of birds, butterflies and unique plants. It is truly an awesome experience for nature lovers.
Head for Lunch in one of the finest restaurants in Jinja overlooking the Source of the Nile and enjoy the cool breeze from the waters of Lake Victoria and the Nile.
Relax and enjoy the peaceful quite ambience around the source of the Nile, take photographs and go for a boat ride. Later, take a city tour to meet the locals and have a look at the old-style Indian city structures.  Whitewater Rafting on The Nile in Jinja (1 Day)

You will not find this kind of adventure anywhere else in the world. The grade five whitewater rafting on the Nile is the only experience of the kind worldwide. You can opt to have it half day provided you are truly short of time, but experience has shown that half day rafters give managers of The Nile whitewater rafting trouble by extending their stay due to overwhelming excitement…

It is important that you begin your journey to Jinja (about 2 hours drive from Kampala) as early as possible. Our driver will meet you at your hotel after an early breakfast and take you to Jinja where you join a group of other rafters. You can begin by enjoying a cup of coffee or tea on one of the magnificent restaurants along The Nile River while you listen to safety briefs from our experts. They will also provide you with life jackets and helmets before gently sloping down 15 KMs on the river to officially start the rafting adventure.
Rafting requires a lot of energy and as such you will be served with a good breakfast as you head to the starting point of the day’s rafting experience and lots of fruit snacks, biscuits and nuts will be provided on board to enable you sustain the energy.
The rafting is perfectly planned to maximize your safety while you enjoy the best fun. You will raft eight major rapids punctuated by several lower graded runs. There are pauses before grade 4 and 5 rapids for more briefing on the nature of the adventure you are about to undertake; giving you options to either proceed, join a safety boat or walk around and join later. Whatever your choice will be, you still get a truly thrilling experience!
Relax at an elegant Riverside Restaurant to enjoy a meal and drinks before starting your journey back to the city. Yet you can also decide to spend the evening in Jinja watching the day’s rafting highlights on a big screen as you awe at the beautiful view of the sun going down at sunset. Ngamba Chimpanzee Island (1 Day)

It is a great experience to spend a day with man’s closest relative – the chimpanzee on the largest lake in Africa (Lake Victoria) as you feel the cool breeze of the fresh water lake…
Early in the morning, our driver will meet you at your lodge either in Entebbe or Kampala. You will be briefed at Uganda Wildlife Education Center (UWEC) before getting onto your boat for a one hour impressive drive to Ngamba Island, about 23 KMs from Entebbe.
Relax and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea as you wait to embark on a thrilling experience of having fun with the habituated chimps in their improvised natural habitat. You will greatly enjoy the nature walk in the forest where you will have an opportunity to get close with the chimps, play and take photographs with these friendly apes. It is true that Lake Mburo National Park is the nearest to the Capital City of Uganda (Kampala) but on this one day safari, you have to wake up very early, have breakfast and start the journey with our experienced tour guide and driver to be able to reach the park as early as possible.
You will take Masaka Road, also Mbarara Road, stop at the equator monument to take a photograph after about an hour’s drive and proceed to reach the gate of the park in about two hour’s drive. Once you enter the park you are already exposed to various animals and birds. Expect to see herds of zebras, warthogs, kobs, topis, elands, buffaloes and bush pigs. Relax and enjoy mid-morning breakfast as you wait for a delicious lunch at one of the luxury hotels in the park. After lunch go for an afternoon boat trip on the lake to see animals like hippos, crocodiles, varieties of birds, and many other animals coming to quench their thirst and cool their bodies from the afternoon sun.

Our tour guide will meet you at your hotel just after you have enjoyed your breakfast and drive you to Mabamba swamp. Just an hour’s drive from Entebbe, you will be at Mabamba Bay Wetland - an Internationally recognized Ramsar Site wetland. Its global importance is derived from the fact that this wetland is home to rare and highly endangered bird species like the Shoebill (Balaeniceps rex), Papyrus Yellow Warbler and the Blue Swallow (Hirundo atrocaerulea).
Here you are, with very high chances to see the elusive shoebill stork at least before the end of the day. This implies that you will carry packed breakfast and lunch in order to spend your day searching for these eye-catching birds including white winged terns, long toed plover, grey headed gull, White-winged Warbler, Northern Brown-throated Weaver, Yellow billed egret, Madagascar bee-eater among others.

Day 1: Transfer to volcanoes National park and Gorilla Trekking:
Our experienced guide and driver will meet you very early in the morning and start a 2 hour drive to the volcanoes National Park Headquarters in Ruhengeri. It is advisable that you reach at the Headquarters for briefing before 7:00 am. You will need to carry packed breakfast and lunch as you will spend most of your time in the jungle. 
The time you will spend tracking the gorillas is unpredictable and it may take as few as only 2 hours on a good day yet it may even take you 8 hours before you meet these great apes. This period taken depends on their movement on the previous day. When you finally find the gorillas, you will have to spend an hour watching them play and eat foliage as you take photographs. It is truly a thrilling experience of a lifetime.
In case you finish the gorilla tracking early you can choose to relax and have a drink at one of the executive hotels near the park or you can take a cultural tour so as to have an opportunity to interact with the friendly local people.
